The 2017 HeliLadder MX5+Modular System consists of a 5’ base unit, with optional 1’, 2’, 3’, and 4’ extensions to fit a multitude of aircraft and their various maintenance requirements. These 5’ thru 9’ cantilevered ladder-- stands have a 1AA rated capacity of 375 lbs. Exceeding all ANSI structural and stability requirements, the MX5+ system also provides OSHA compliant access to the engines, upper airframe, and rotor systems of most single and twin--engine helicopters, as well as difficult--to--access airplane components. Eachextension has integrated handrailsto allow for quick and easy (60second) reconfiguration.Extensions are secured to the baseunit with tool--less hand wheels or6 AN4 bolts. An optional 3--piecetool tray set offers exceptional tooland FOD control while working onthe aircraft.
